  - the October 2008 newsletter.  Read on the web in 'html' format
     or alternatively Read, Download or Print as a 'pdf ' document.

• Book Resources & CD Resources 
  - earlier this year the Branch purchased a series of transcriptions from two  
     neighbouring Family History Societies in Yorkshire .. most are booklets,
     but there are some microfiche and CDs.  Also there have been various
     book donations - all are now on the updated Resources pages.
   
• The 2008/2009 Programme of Events 
  - a complete listing of our branch meetings for the year, with the
     usual proviso, that they may be subject to change, without notice,
     due to reasons beyond our control.
   
• Major update of Members' Interests - August/September 2008
  - a complete overhaul of the lists.  Several names removed due to 
     resignation of members and 'bouncing email addresses. 
     Many new names added - see the New Postings page.
   
• The Message Board
  - some new messages, most old messages and queries have been 
     incorporated into the newsletters
   
• The Gazette 'Names & Features' Index
  - the Index is updated with every issue; remember to use it when
     searching the newsletter archive.  
     Note for dialup users, I am aware that it needs splitting into 
     two sections; Articles and Surnames .. perhaps next time (I really must get on with it)
