• Genealogical Memoirs of the Family of Marsden 1194-1901 (CD 013) - the surname of Marsden is of Anglo Saxon origin, and is a locational name from places called Marsden in Lancashire, and the West Riding of Yorkshire.  The original book by the Revd Benjamin Anderton Marsden, James Aspinall Marsden & Robert Sydney Marsden was published in 1914.  The authors have used public records, wills and other documents from private sources to trace the family and its several branches from 1194 to the beginning of the 20th century .. fully searchable
